Ask a Librarian

Florida residents: Have you ever worked on a research paper or other assignment at home and wondered, "Where can I find more information? I wish I had some help!"
Relax. Help is just a click away. Simply go to Ask a Librarian, and a Florida librarian will be at your service via email or live chat. Allow these information specialists to guide you toward sources and materials either online or at your local libraries.
The librarian you contact may or may not necessarily be from your own school or city. For example, a Miami Dade College student who uses Ask a Librarian may receive help from a librarian in Jacksonville, Sarasota, or the Keys.
However, rest assured. These are professionals. A librarian from another part of the state can effectively guide you through web searches or your own local catalogs and databases to help you find just the information you need.
Email assistance is available 24/7 and live chat is available Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to midnight, and Friday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
Real people. Real help. Real Fast! Ask a Librarian is there for you.
